Dr. Beverly W. Glover

Beverly W. Glover is a native of Macon, Ga. She received her education from the Public Schools of Bibb County, Savannah State, Fort Valley State (now University), Georgia College and Georgia Southern University. She received her Doctorate in Administration and Supervision from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

 With a passion for improving the lives of children and young adults she began her career with the Bibb County Public School system as classroom teacher, home-school facilitator, counselor, Assistant Principal, Principal and later retired from her position as Director of Alternative Education.  She worked diligently to ensure performance and achievement for all students.

 Giving back to the community, she is an active member of many religious and civic organizations.  She is immediate past President of the Georgia Association of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows, Past Basileus of Epsilon Tau Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., a member OES # 82, Phi Delta Kappa, NAACP, Church Women United, National Council of Negro Women, the Links, Incorporated- Macon Chapter; Immediate Past Director of Protocol and faculty member for the International Association of Ministers’ Wives. In July 2010, Dr. Glover was elected President of the International Association of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows, Interdenominational.

 Since childhood, the church has always played a vital role in her life. Dr. Glover is an active member of the Greater Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. There she is a member of the Deaconess Ministry, Sunday school, Missionary Society, Mission-in-action, and advisor to the Women’s Ministry.

 She is the wife of Moderator and Pastor Walter L. Glover, Jr., the devoted mother of one son, a loving daughter-in-law and the proud grandmother of two. She is secretary and General Manager of Glover Memorial in Macon.
